Social media: the service
What does Markelop social media management include?
A monthly calendar, design, copy, scheduling, review and edits before anything goes live and a monthly PDF report. Depending on the plan, carousels, adapted Instagram stories, LinkedIn and a Google Business Profile are included.
Which networks are included?
Presence and Consistency include Facebook and Instagram. Multichannel includes Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, plus one eligible Google Business Profile.
What is not included?
Video and reels, photo shoots, paid advertising, inbox replies, comment moderation, review management, crisis management and urgent campaigns. We do not guarantee sales, followers, reach or Google rankings.
Do you use AI?
We may use AI tools to support editing, design and writing, always reviewed before delivery. Copy follows your brand voice and facts.
Plans and billing
How much does it cost?
It depends on the plan you choose. In the assistant you answer a few questions, see what each plan includes and the total before you pay. Billing is monthly and recurring.
When is the first month charged?
At your first payment. That day starts your monthly cycle and the full month is charged; you can start on any day of the month.
How do I cancel?
Email soporte@markelop.com or request it from your client portal whenever you like. From the portal you keep the service until the end of the paid cycle; by email we refund the days you did not use.
Can I pay online?
Online checkout will open once the payment setup is validated. Until then, email us and we will tell you how to pay.
Materials and access
What do I need to provide?
Brand guidelines, photos or images you have rights to use, service information, current promotions and publishing access. You name one person to approve content.
Do I share passwords?
No. Accounts connect through each platform’s authorization. Never send passwords or card details by form or email.
Do you take photos?
No. We work with the materials you share. Photo shoots and creating materials from scratch are not included.
Review and publishing
When do I get the calendar?
Production begins once we receive your complete brief. When it is ready, the month is scheduled in Social Planner and you review it there.
Can I adjust things before they go live?
Of course. You review the full month before anything goes live, tell us what to fine-tune and we get it ready. You have the final say.
What if a platform restricts my account?
We report the disconnections or restrictions we detect. You handle account verification and recovery; we help you identify the access that is pending.
What are your support hours?
Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 16:00 Mexico City time, at soporte@markelop.com. Messages received after hours are handled the next business day.
Websites, landing pages and online stores
Do you also build websites and online stores?
Yes. We build websites, landing pages and online stores in three packages per service, with copy and design included. Domain, hosting and your store platform subscription are paid directly to the provider.
How do I know which service I need?
Use the free assistant at markelop.com/en/choose-your-service: answer a few questions and we recommend the service and package, with what’s included.
Landing page or website?
If you pay for ads to promote one offer, a landing page fits, because it has a single goal. If you want to present your whole business and show up on Google, a website fits better.
Who writes the copy?
We do. Every plan includes sales copy written with your business information, and you review it before launch.
Are domain and hosting included?
On the Markelop platform, hosting is included in the fee and the domain is in your name. On your own WordPress, you buy hosting and the domain and we guide you. Compare both options in Build your website.
Can I edit my site later?
Yes. Professional and Advanced include a recorded training so you can change copy and photos. On the platform, maintenance is included; on WordPress, it comes with the CRM and maintenance plan. See what each plan includes.
Markelop platform, Shopify or WooCommerce?
On the Markelop platform you pay a monthly fee with everything included: hosting, maintenance and CRM. If you already have Shopify or WooCommerce, or prefer to pay for them yourself, we charge the build once. Compare both in Build your store and read Shopify vs WooCommerce.
Who loads the products?
We do. You send us the list with photos and prices and we upload them with variants and stock. If you have more than your plan includes, add packs of 25 products in step 4 of Build your store.
Your site, your domain and cancelling
Who owns my website and my domain?
You do, always. The domain belongs to your business, and so does the site we build for you.
What happens if I cancel and my website or landing page is on the Markelop platform?
We hand you an export with your site’s code (HTML, CSS and JavaScript) and your contacts, so you can publish it wherever you like. We build sites with code, not a drag-and-drop editor, which is why you can take them with you.
What if my store is on the Markelop platform?
A store built inside the Markelop platform can’t be exported to another system. If you’d rather be able to take it with you, we build it on Shopify or WooCommerce, in an account in your name. Tell us your preference before we start.
