Why it matters

Why your restaurant needs a steady social presence

Plenty of diners check a restaurant's Instagram or Facebook page before they head out. They want to see the food, skim the menu and make sure you're open. When the last post is months old, people start wondering whether you've closed or changed the menu.

Posting on a steady schedule keeps that information current and gives regulars a reason to come back: a new seasonal dish, patio hours, a weekend brunch or your Thanksgiving catering menu. The goal isn't posting for the sake of it. It's a calendar that reflects what's actually happening in your kitchen.

Markelop hands you that calendar every month: copy, design and scheduling on Facebook and Instagram, one consolidated round of edits and a monthly report. You focus on your food and your guests.

The plan that usually fits

Consistency · USD 497 per month

Restaurants usually have something new to say every week, and the Consistency plan makes room for it with 16 original pieces a month on Facebook and Instagram, 4 carousels for menus or seasonal features and 8 derived stories. If your menu rarely changes and you just want a steady baseline, the Presence plan can cover the essentials.

Good to know

What to watch when posting about food

Prices, specials and limited-time offers should match what guests actually pay; the FTC's truth-in-advertising principles apply to restaurants too. That's why you confirm every price and promotion before it's scheduled. The same goes for dietary claims like gluten-free, vegan or allergen-friendly: we only post what you've verified.
If you serve alcohol, advertising rules vary by state and Meta has its own policies on alcohol content, so we keep the tone responsible and recommend checking the official help center and your state's rules. Photos of guests or staff are only used with their permission. And Markelop doesn't answer DMs or take reservations: every post points people to your own booking or ordering channel.
FAQ

Before you start.

Do you take photos of our food?
No. The service doesn't include photo shoots or video. We design with the photos you send us, and phone photos taken in good natural light usually work well.
Will you answer DMs, reservation requests or reviews?
No. Messages, comments and reviews stay with your team. Our posts make it clear how to book or order, so guests land in your own channels.
Can you post our daily or last-minute specials?
Content is planned and scheduled monthly from what you send by the 15th, and urgent campaigns aren't included. Recurring specials like a weekly taco night fit well; share your seasonal and holiday plans early.
Does this work for coffee shops and food trucks?
Yes. We adapt the content pillars to how you operate. For a food truck with changing locations, it helps to share a set weekly route you can confirm in advance, since posts are scheduled a month ahead.
